Hey guys, I haven’t blogged in ages… always easier when you’re bored at work; but summer is over, and that job is now over… and I’m moving to Vancouver next week.

Dreams.

I had very vivid ones this weekend – perhaps the penicillin for my tooth is the reason?

Regardless, I’m trying to figure out how my brain knows when my alarm is about to go off – because it plans epic cliffhangers…

Like this morning, some bitch in a NY apartment singed her eyebrows somehow and some loud-spoken firefighters were going to teach her methods of fire safety. This, I wouldn’t mind being interrupted by the sound of a death screeching alarm.

But the dream immediately following that dream, included a religious and caring black lady – come to think of it, a movie isn’t really complete without one of these – who just lost her husband in a fire. She was cleaning her apartment, apparently communicating with a bunch of people on a different floor without phones… confusing. Perhaps they were the voices in her head? But she’s not crazy so… regardless, they asked “you really loved him didn’t you…”, as she replied with “yep, he was the only man I have ever been in love with”. What is it with genuinely romantic black elderly couples that’s so charming and full of wisdom?

Anyways, right as she said this – you guessed it – the alarm blasted my face.

For the record, this has been a fairly decent Monday.
